Asset Manager – Student Accommodation
Our client is a leading real estate development and investment company, active globally. They are looking for an Asset Manager within their Student Accommodation team to work on their established and growing portfolio within the UK. You will play a key role in maximising the income of the portfolio.
Your major responsibilities will include devising income strategies to support highest occupancy at the maximum rate, anticipating potential issues with leasing, managing operators at the property level and meeting frequent and tight financial reporting deadlines with our investor base.
You will also be required to provide regular updates on market supply, demand, pricing, and competition for your assets. You will need to be highly numerate and have a good understanding of property finance.
To succeed in this role, you should have a sound understanding of the UK real estate market and ideally the student accommodation market.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Other key attributes include being a team player, who is results driven and possesses strong presentation, organisational and negotiation skills.
Salary will range from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum plus benefits and bonus.
Based in Central London.
