As we approach 2020 opportunities are arising for experienced planning professionals across Yorkshire. In particular, we are working closely with an established planning consultancy in Leeds seeking a Senior Planner who can handle residential and commercial projects that range from significant city centre developments to challenging green belt proposals.
Our client has an experienced team who are renowned for delivering high-quality projects on behalf of a fantastic and varied client base that includes major developers, house builders, private individuals and major retailers. The Senior Planner will be joining a consultancy that is renowned nationally for its high-quality workload but also its focus on the development of its Planners.
The Senior Planner will be responsible for handling an array of planning applications, handle appeals on behalf of clients, assist in the development of client relationships and mentor junior members of the planning team. As part of a growing consultancy there is ample opportunity for the Senior Planner to progress to Associate.
Ideally the Senior Planner will be able to demonstrate a wide breadth of planning experience across residential and commercial projects within a consultancy environment. Chartered membership of the RTPI is essential and the Senior Planner will be an excellent communicator capable of engaging with clients, Planning Officers and colleagues throughout the planning process.
