Our client is a well-established Auckland CBD based firm offering a partnership or senior level opportunity (experience dependant). This is a role with expertise required within commercial property transactional work, property financing, staged subdivisions and property development projects, dealing with the property aspects of mergers and acquisitions and handling client’s commercial leasing portfolios.
You will be supported by other partners with expertise in property matters and other seniors in the team also. This is a unique opportunity to grow the property side of the practice and the firm are looking for a driven individual with business development capabilities and partnership aspirations.
What you need to succeed:
- 10+ years legal experience with solid experience in the commercial property law area (including recent private practice experience);
- Experience gained in a reputable firm;
- Driven to build and further develop the property team as a leader; and be a
- NZ qualified lawyer.
The team has a well established client base however having any transferable clients would be of interest, but not essential.
Perhaps you’re a Senior Associate from a large firm or specialist commercial property law team looking for a step up and the chance to manage client relationships and lead this function. Likewise you may be a commercial property partner that is looking to move into a practice with a better working environment.
