Project Manager | Boutique Consultancy | Phenomenal Progression

One of our key clients within the industry recently instructed us on an excellent opportunity that they have available within their company. The initial focus will be on the Student Accommodation, and Hospitality industries working closely with key stakeholders on some phenomenal schemes.

Remuneration:

£50,000 – £60,000 + package

It is undoubtedly an exciting time for the consultancy as they have an excellent pipeline, work with some very interesting clients, and have major growth plans.

Although boutique, the consultancy recently received an injection of capital enabling them to really flourish within the market with their expansion plans looking extremely promising over the next 5 years. The company is looking to triple in size, going from strength to strength so now could be the perfect time to join their team!

The student accommodation and hotel industries are both emerging. Specifically in London, there are plans for 8,000 rooms, and 65 new hotels to be built in 2020. The successful Project Manager will work with some of the leading Student Accommodation and Hotel Clients. The projects will include new builds and refurbishments ranging in value between £10 million and £50 million, with the use of JCT and NEC contracts. There is a real blend of projects, ranging from luxury 5* London destination hotels to some of the more technical cut and carve reconfigurations of existing assets into boutique spaces. The appointed Project Manager will be an ambitious individual who is pushing for the Senior / Associate level, taking complete ownership for managing stakeholders, and the project through every stage, initially collaborating regularly with one of the Senior Directors.

The consultancy now has the freedom to focus more on interesting projects, winning business with the best clients, and to build from the grassroots up. Taking this into consideration it could be an excellent time to join the business, with some very senior level positions expected to become available as the firm prioritises promoting organically.

 Requirements:

  • Construction-related degree
  • MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM preferred or progressing through APC
  • Experience with Student Accommodation / Hospitality projects (desired)
