Our client is a growing, progressive firm with a strong reputation in the market. The firm believes in supporting their staff and offers valuable professional development opportunities and career progression paths. If you are an intermediate level commercial lawyer looking to join a collaborative team, this could be the role for you. You will work across interesting and high quality commercial legal matters from a variety of sectors and you will have access to a good level of support from seniors. Your day to day work will involve a varied mix of responsibilities from drafting and negotiating commercial contracts to intellectual property, technology, construction and general corporate advisory work. If you enjoy project related work, there is plenty of that e.g. with procurement and outsourcing matters.

A couple of the team’s key clients include the energy and electricity industries so if this is a sector that interest you, get in touch.

To be successful in this role you will be a New Zealand qualified lawyer with 3 -6 years’ experience working on corporate/commercial legal matters within a reputable commercial team. Solicitors returning from overseas are also encouraged to apply.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to work within the Waikato region where you can reap the benefits of a more relaxed lifestyle without compromising on quality complex legal work.
