Our client is spearheading the rejuvenation of a large scale integrated infrastructure precinct. The proposed development is expected to be completed in phases and will be a multi-generation endeavour that will bring together Engineering, Architecture, urban planning and sustainability expertise. They are currently looking to bring on board their Safety Director.

Reporting to the vice president, your primary function as the Safety Director is to ensure continuous improvement of SH&E systems and processes on all sites throughout the development. You will ensure that the SH&E standards are executed in compliance to the local regulatory bodies. You will also design and deploy continuous improvement programs to develop a strong culture of corporate safety in the office and the construction sites.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 10 years technical experience in SH&E related positions. Additionally you will show demonstrated ability to develop, implement and improve OH&S and environmental management systems, policies and procedures.
