Senior Property Manager/Team Leader
Our client is a highly regarded residential managing agent in South London. They are looking for a Senior Property Manager to help manage a newly won portfolio.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a small property management team, while also managing your own prime portfolio. This would entail; leasehold management duties, maintaining regular contact with clients and directors as well as ensuring that departmental deadlines and service standards are met. Other duties include the following;
- Monitoring team performance.
- Carrying out monthly reviews with all team members.
- Authorise both draft and final agreed budgets to be passed onto accounts department.
- Act as first point of reference for questions or discussions concerning team portfolio.
The portfolio in question is made up of high end, new build, residential flats in the local area. Given the nature of these properties, some of which valued upwards of £10million each, extreme professionalism is essential.
It is important you possess strong leadership and staff management skills, along with an in-depth knowledge of the property industry and its processes. Previous experience working as a property manager is a must along with the following attributes;
- IRPM qualified
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of service charge budget formulation
- Strong knowledge of section 20 notice processes and major works
- An ability to deal with difficult people and resolve conflict effectively
