Credit Control Supervisor – PropertyCentral London

£33,000 – £38,000

My client is an international commercial property developer who specialise in super prime commercial real estate and they are currently seeking an experienced Credit Control Supervisor to oversee two established Credit Controllers as well as taking on a hands on approach to the role.

This position would be great for an individual with sound Credit Control experience within Real Estate who is now looking for their next step up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure smooth running of the Credit Control function in relation to rent and service charges.
  • You will be responsible for two credit control assistants and provide on the job training and guidance when required.
  • Responsibility of monitoring the accounts and preparing regular arrears reports
  • Take necessary action through solicitors / bailiffs when required, alongside managing other legal disputes
  • To manage payment plan negotiations with leaseholders and tenants where required in conjunction with the Area Manager
  • To maximise the collection of debt in a timely fashion and minimise the risk of non-payment whilst maintaining great Customer Service

Personal Specification:

  • You will have previous working experience within a Credit Control function within Real Estate
  • Great working knowledge across Microsoft Office Suite, inclusive of intermediate/advance Excel skills for reporting purposes
  • Have the ability to provide guidance and support to more junior members of staff
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be able to prioritise your workload
  • Be able to demonstrate strong supervisory qualities and the ability to undertake various issues
