Cobalt are working with a market leading real estate investor based in Central London. They are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their team. Not only will this role play a key part of the accounts payable team, you will gain exposure to some of the most exciting Real Estate funds across Europe and Asia.

Key duties include:

  • Undergoing a high number of weekly and monthly payment runs, as well as urgent payments
  • Creating new suppliers on the in-house system
  • Reconciling purchase ledger statements monthly
  • Opening and dating post and entering in post book
  • Raise cheques to pay suppliers
  • Making inter-company transfer payments
  • Processing employee expense claim forms
  • Liaising with suppliers e.g. utility companies
  • Filing of all invoices
  • Ensuring all bank statements received on time
  • Preparing bank payment instructions

Key requirements:

  • Experience working within a purchase ledger/ accounts payable position
  • Understanding of Sage Line 50
  • Experience working within real estate/construction/property
  • Work well within a team
