Senior Property Management Surveyor

Birmingham

This position would suit a commercially minded Property Management Surveyor who is looking for their next progressive career move. My client is offering the appointed Property Manager the opportunity to work with UK and European Corporate Occupiers. As part of a busy and lively team based in Birmingham city centre, you will be allocated a key client alongside supporting on other sizeable accounts. Day to day to responsibilities will include:

  • Provide allocated clients with full property and estate management services
  • Ensure the cost effective running of these properties
  • Liaise with clients and 3rd parties to ensure uninterrupted use of the premises, effectively acting as the intermediary between the landlord and the tenant
  • Identify and deliver cost savings for the clients
  • For sublet properties, monitor income collection and ensure regular tenant liaison
  • Manage exit strategies for freehold and leasehold properties
  • Ensure adherence to lease terms and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure that the full suite of services is offered to clients
  • Maintain regular reporting and client contact

The appointed Property Management Surveyor will be MRICS and must possess an up to date knowledge of property management legislation alongside demonstrable technical competence.

Candidates are likely to have gained their experience within consultancy or client-side in an estates capacity for either the private or public sector. Further training and development is fully supported as is a clearly defined route of progression.
