Accounting Manager – Luxembourg – up to €90k + Bonus

Our client provides high quality Alternative Investment services, with presence in the UK and Luxembourg and they are currently seeking for a Manager to join their accounting team in Luxembourg.

You will join a mid-sized, multinational company and work closely with some of the top clients in the Alternative Investment industry. You will have great career progression as the company has a fast growth.

Duties include:

  • Lead a team of accountants and review their work regarding the daily operations of several private equity structures
  • Review of accounting reports before the review from the client
  • Ensure all client requirements are met on time and with high quality deliverable
  • Coach and support the development of team members and their performance
  • Taking accountability of the client relationships
  • Attend management meetings and contribute in discussions
  • Liaising with clients and third parties (lawyers, auditors)

Technical knowledge & skills required:

  • Previous experience in working on Private Equity funds is necessary
  • Experience in managing a US or UK client is necessary
  • Experience in planning the quarterly and annual reporting deliverable
  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience of leading and developing team
  • Client relationship and client facing experience is an asset
  • An accounting qualification is preferential
  • Auditing background is advantageous
