Client Side – Site Manager/Foreman

Cobalt Recruitment has the pleasure of working with a leading investment and development firm based in London that has over £1 billion of investment in the UK, spread over 1.7 million sq ft of mixed use real estate. Acting as principle investor and developer, this firm manages the development of their portfolio from initial purchase and design stages, through to onsite completion. They have a close knit team of 30 staff who are all involved throughout the development life-cycle.

Having secured an impressive heritage site in London, this firm has planning permission to redevelop the iconic landmark scheme to include retail, hotel, leisure, exhibition, office and residential uses. Due to the complexity and full involvement in the development, this leading firm is looking for a site based Manager/Construction Foreman to oversee the contractors and ensure timely completion on behalf of the Project owners.

The role;

The successful candidate will manage construction activities on site to ensure transformation of an iconic venue. You will initially manage the enabling works, groundwork’s and piling to deliver a new basement and large exhibition space. Once complete you will then manage the delivery of a variety of building uses including; office, hotel, restaurants, bars and Public Realm.

The person;

You will need to be a driven individual with a can-do attitude. You will have had experience working on large scale redevelopment projects for a leading Contractor but also have the passion to step over onto the client-side. You will need extensive hands on construction delivery experience, with a focus on the delivery of groundwork’s packages including different types of large piling and basement excavation operations. In addition you will need to be commercially astute as you represent the primary investor in the delivery of this scheme.

The Salary;

£80,000 – £110,000
