Accounts Assistant, Full-Time, Permanent, Leeds City Centre, £22,000 Per Annum

My client is a global leader in commercial real estate services and are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team in central Leeds. This role will be crucial in providing support to the Service Charge Accounts function.

The role will include:

  • Logging and imputing all invoices onto the in-house database
  • Reconciliation of payment ledger information
  • Preparation reports via the system as required
  • Querying matters with both agents and landlords
  • Chasing Senior Service Charge Accountant queries
  • Various ad hoc accounting administration duties
  • Reviewing invoices before passing onto the Senior Service Charge Accountants
  • Ensuring service charge data is up to date on the in-house system for treasury clients
  • Advising clients direct for non-treasury`

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in bank/general ledger reconciliations preferable
  • Solid accounts payable ledgers experience
  • Be to intermediate level at least with the Microsoft Excel system
  • Team Player
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
