Our Client is an independent global real estate loan servicing company with a large growth strategy for the European market. The company offers loan servicing and related loan management services to the European commercial real estate sector, encompassing debt management, underwriting, restructuring, surveillance and advisory services. It was incorporated in 2013 and is headquartered in London with an office in Frankfurt/Main.
To grow the successful team, we are currently, exclusively, looking for an Analyst (m/f) with Dutch and English language skills.
As Analyst (m/f), you will work in an international team managing a portfolio of loans and providing services to commercial real estate clients. When a client originates a loan, it is our role to ensure it is properly managed throughout its life. This can range from the quarterly movement of cash and monitoring of covenants (for performing loans) to asset management as well as advisory and potential restructuring (for defaulted loans). You will be an essential part of the success story and report directly to the Head of the Branch in Frankfurt am Main.
The role:
- Management of performing and/or non performing CRE loans/loan portfolios in various European jurisdictions, including
- Collection and analysis of borrower reports (rent rolls, operating statement, covenants etc.)
- Negotiation, as needed, with borrowers, guarantors, asset managers, property managers
- Representation of clients and investors on a daily basis through the role as facility agent or primary servicer
- Development of business plans for sub- and non-performing loans, initializing enforcement measures into all types of securities
- Assistance in preparing internal and external reports and presentations
- Support and work with legal and senior management on the closing of new deals
- Other duties as assigned
The person:
- 2+ years’ experience in commercial loan servicing in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe with a focus on the Dutch real estate market. Ideally, experience with financial institutions, a third party servicer or a lawyer company.
- Good Analytical skills to understand complex loan documents and borrower structures
- Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to client specific requirements and objectives
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Very good understanding of Windows applications
- Ability to work in a small and highly professional environment, to work under pressure; assertiveness and confidence, professional appearance
- Performance-oriented, responsible work ethic and a meticulous way of working
- Flexibility, commitment, team spirit and strong communication skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is essential, German is appreciated
