Commercial Property Client Accounts Team Leader
 West End
£50-60k per annum

Our client is a large established multi-disciplinary chartered surveying practice who manage commercial, residential and mixed use properties all over the UK. They are seeking an experienced Team Leader/Supervisor to manage a small team of Client Accountants and ensure best practice is adhered to for a prestigious London portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and supervision of up to 5 team members
  • Full control of a client/property portfolio
  • Reviewing reports prepared by Client Accountants
  • Control, set up and maintenance of records on the property management database
  • Raising tenant and void demands
  • Client Payovers
  • Reconciliation and set-up of take on balances
  • Reconciliation and handover of sold property balances
  • Overall responsibility for service charge reconciliation process
  • Understanding and agreeing client reporting requirements
  • Monthly/Quarterly reporting to clients
  • Attending client meetings
  • Developing client relationships Working closely with surveying team
  • Ensure all internal QA is adhered to
  • Liaising with other departments on adhoc issues and specific matters as and when required
  • Assisting with queries from colleagues, clients and tenants
  • Liaising with team members to ensure all information is correct and a timely service is provided

Personal specification:

  • Previous Client Accounting experience
  • Experience using a property management system such as Tramps, Yardi, APB, ECS, Horizon
  • Have experience managing team members and taking responsibility for the accounting process
  • Be enthusiastic and have excellent attention to detail
