Cobalt consultant enters boxing tournament in aid of a children’s charity in Singapore

24 professionals were chosen to be professionally trained in a 14-week program, to go on to participate in a 3-round bout in white collar events sanctioned by the World White Collar Boxing Association (WWCBA).

Marcus Davies-Bateman who heads up our Singapore operation stepped up to the mark and entered the ring, winning his three rounds in front of an audience of c.2000 people.

Marcus Davies-Bateman comments:

“It was great to be part of this fantastic event. For the last few months, I have trained 5-6 times a week focusing on sparring, circuits and bag/pad work so I have definitely improved my fitness and lost 8 kgs. It felt great to win my bout and I personally raised $2.5k USD for the Cambodia Children’s Surgery which is such a great cause. Thank you to everyone who donated.”
