Cobalt Recruitment is working alongside a well-established and highly reputable managing agent in the search for a Director of Technical Services to manage a highly-skilled team of engineers at a prime location in the City. Working alongside the Estate Director, you will play an active role as part of the senior management team, delivering targets and improving the estate and building’s energy performance.
In addition to this key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to;
- Managing the M&E services contract as well as the buildings operations and services by leading the Engineering Managers and collaborating with the on site estate management teams, fabric managers and specialist engineering support team.
- Setting, managing and reconciling the service charge budget for the hard service aspect of the budget in addition to implementing and monitoring the estate’s engineering budget.
- Proactively coordinating all contracted engineering team’s activities, ensuring all maintenance is properly carried out, budgets are adhered to and all health and safety documentation is in place.
- Forming relationships with stakeholders, occupiers and colleagues and ensuring that the highest level of communication is displayed throughout.
As well as line management responsibilities, this will also be a very client facing role where you will be required to communicate with clients, key stakeholders, service contractors and colleagues of all levels. A degree/qualification in Engineering would be preferred as well as a NEBOSH. You have a customer focused attitude and a flexible working style as well as strong leadership and motivational skills.
