Cobalt is recruiting on behalf one of the world’s largest Real Estate investors, based in the heart of the City. This role will be responsible for the financial operations of property fund’s managed by the Real Estate division of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of quarterly financial reporting packs for the parent company
  • Preparation of monthly returns for investors and assistance with responding to investor queries
  • Preparation of finance report and appendices for board meetings

Accounting and Oversight:

  • Liaison with property managers to ensure accuracy of accounting data
  • Performance of monthly and quarterly review controls over financial data in the accounting system
  • Maintenance of process notes setting out responsibilities and processes relating to financial reporting
  • Preparation of net asset value calculations
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts under FRS102
  • Liaison with auditors

Key skills required:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified accountant (or equivalent), or AAT qualified
  • Property financial accounting experience under UK GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills & able to understand, question and challenge a range of financial data
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Confidence to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external parties
  • Excel (to advanced level is desirable)
  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager system is beneficial
