Our client offers traditional and alternative investments across all major asset classes. The firm provides wealth management solutions and private banking services to high-net-worth clients and family offices.
In the the last year the fund management team in Europe has launched a new global real estate debt fund. Due to the launch of a new investment vehicle, the German team is currently looking to bring on board an (Associate-)Vice President (m/w) to analyze new opportunities in. The asset management platform has been actively investing in real estate assets for more than 40 years. Today, with a dedicated team and local fund and asset managers located in cities around the world, the global platform manages over EUR 60 billion on behalf of institutional investors and private clients worldwide. In the the last year the fund management team in Europe has launched a new global real estate debt fund. Due to the launch of a new investment vehicle, the German team is currently looking to bring on board an (Associate-)Vice President (m/w) to analyze new opportunities in. The seasoned banker will be required to use his long track record within the real estate market to drive forward the fund management efforts.

Area of Responsibility

* To supervise the consistent application of the senior lending process in Germany * Analysis of potential new senior debt lending opportunities in terms of suitable sponsor, asset quality/security, suitable cash flow coverage, risks, mitigants, pricing and returns* Participation in the structuring of credit transactions in Germany and responsibility for the preparation of term sheets and brochures * To determine lending requirements in Germany together with other bankers and communicate these lending requirements to third parties* Liaise with Associates to ensure quality control in the standard of presentation of potential lending transactions (deal presentation, term sheet, credit statement) to the Senior Management for endorsement to proceed, including appropriate initial property due diligence, investment analysis and consideration of appropriate credit viability * Utilization of meaningful network contacts for continuous business (Business Development) * Advising the partners and the credit committee throughout the process of planning, project development and implementation * Working closely with and reporting directly to the senior management in London and Frankfurt

The required Profile

* Above average successfully completed university degree* Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in the origination, execution and analysis of structured Real estate financing and / or the active management of real estate capital markets transactions with a bank , a private equity company, fund or real estate company ( investor or developer in the departments of Finance or Treasury)* Excellent knowledge in the areas of real estate finance , accounting and the common transaction structures (portfolio and individual property level , asset and share deals , sale and leaseback , fund structures , etc.) and current real estate capital market skills are required* Experience of capital markets, the use of debt and financial instruments, fund structuring and associated tax issues* Energetic, resourceful with the ability to take the initiative and make informed decisions. A proactive/diligent individual* A team player with demonstrable ability to work in a team * Strong leadership & people management skills* Good spoken and written English language skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively in English and German
