Head, Fundraising (Real Estate), Singapore
Our client, a leading property investment company with strong global presence, are seeking to appoint a Head of Fundraising who would be their Lead Capital Raiser to drive their fund raising activities in Asia Pacific. They are a regional real estate fund manager who’s currently in an exciting fund raise to help fund the growth of its real estate development and investment operations. This new raise will allow the structuring/launch of new funds and investment vehicles, targeting existing and new markets.
You would be involved in raising third-party capital for private equity real estate funds and lead in presenting and interacting with prospective investors. You would work closely with the portfolio and fund management teams and actively participate in fund raising projects.
Responsibilities
* Drafting of marketing material supporting prospective funds i.e. teasers, presentations
* Coordination with lawyers/third-party counsels and other in-house resources of documents related to the formal fund raising process including term sheets, LOIs, DDQs, Private Placement Memorandums and Subscription Agreements
* Attendance to trade/industry events/conferences and preparation of the relevant material
* Population of investor data-base/related CRM tools to maintain intelligence on prospective investors and track status of on-going conversations
* Assist, through regular attendance of 3rd-party meetings/calls, with the closing of investor commitments through the entire sequence of investor targeting, initial conversations, pre-contractual documentation, information exchange and support of investment review by investor and execution of binding legal documentation; the candidate shall be eager to lead in client negotiations.

You would have an excellent track record in fund and capital raising and be well-networked and acquainted with investors including HNWI, asset managers, institutional investors, family offices, insurance companies, private banks and wealth managers.
You would be disciplined, resourceful and excellent at relationship building.
Requirements
You will have a good Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, with minimum 12 to 15 years experience in capital raising across Private Equity Real Estate. You must possess strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a keen understanding of investments. You must also demonstrate good report writing and communication skills.
