Head of Block Management

We currently have an extremely rare opportunity to work for one of the biggest and wealthiest international property groups in Europe. The group are an innovative and forward thinking firm of property professionals who strive to maintain a dynamic approach to all sectors of the property market ranging from property sales, lettings & management to prestigious development and construction projects.

They have established their head office in the heart of Mayfair and are looking to hire a Head of Block Management. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in all aspects of Block including service charge budgets, section 20 and major works and AGM meetings.

Someone who would have prior knowledge of building a team or office and is experienced in different marketing techniques to win instructions and create awareness of the brand in the UK market would have an advantage in the process.

Key requirements:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Directly responsible for the performance and motivation of all staff in the Block team
  • Leading a team to deliver high levels of customer service throughout the portfolio
  • Reviewing existing policies and procedures and making changes accordingly
  • Point of escalation for complex leasehold issues
  • Recruitment and training of new staff members
  • Overseeing major works across portfolio to ensure best practice is maintained
  • Consult and offer advice on the strategic growth of the department
