Our client is a multilateral institutions for development that promotes social and economic development, prosperity and economic cooperations between its memeber states. They are looking to hire a Head of Compliance and MLRO to manage and monitor all compliance and Anti-Money Laundering related matter and be the focal point of contact with the Central Bank of Bahrain.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing general compliance advise and assitance to department heads to ensure that the client complies at all times with all relevant laws, rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain up to date files and records related to the Bank’s compliance matters according to set procedures.
  • Follow up on the status of any compliance related issue to ensure that the requirments are adhered to.
  • Develop, maintain and update the compliance manual in accordance with the Central Bank of Bahrain Rulebook.
  • Prepare all required internal memos and external correspondence with respect to Central Bank of Bahrain reporting.

A successful candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, economics, accountancy, business studies, mathematics, IT or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience gained in a bank or other financial institution, ideal last position in a GCC bank.
  • Proven administrative skills expertise: have the required professional bearing and interpersonal skill to interface effectively with top management and external parties.
