Head of Construction (Project Manager) – Global e-commerce business (Logistics & Office Portfolio)

Location: London or Berlin (with global travel)

In partnership with Cobalt, our client is looking for a head of construction (Project Manager) to oversee their global development portfolio focused primarily within the logistic and office sector. They are an exceptionally dynamic and entrepreneurial business who have grown rapidly over recent years and are looking continue this projection with the acquisition and development of key sites across Europe, the US and Australasia.

Remuneration:£75,0000 – £90,000 (or Euros depending on location)Excellent benefits package

Reporting into the Head of Property and Development, this role would suit an ambitious Project Manager who has good retail, logistic and office CAT A/B fit-out and refurbishment experience to step up into a lead role as Head of Construction. Based in either our client’s London or Berlin office, the Project Manager will have an exceptionally exciting role travelling across the globe and overseeing the full inception to completion development projects. Their asset portfolio is mainly logistic / warehouse fit-out and refurbishment projects valued between £1 million and circa £30 million and top end, dynamic and modern office CAT B fit-out projects to circa 300,000 sq ft. The Project Manager will set up and oversee the full external consultant teams, developer and contractors through the project life-cycle and report back into senior stake holders. This represents an exceptionally exciting opportunity to drive your career forward to the top level. We are looking for Project Manager who has a self starter attitude, who is ambitious and happy to travel and lead at short notice.

Requirements:

  • MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB preferential but not essential
  • Degree in Construction / Project Management OR Civil / Structural engineering
  • Consultancy or developer background
  • Experience in logistic warehouse and dynamic office fit-out experience

Personality traits: Commercially & technically astute, self starter, ambitious, confident, excellent communicator with the ability to think outside the box and a keen interest in travel.
