Head of Property Accounts
£48,000 – £52,000 per annum

Cobalt are currently working alongside a well-respected Property Management Company based in Bedfordshire. They are currently looking for a Head of Accounts to over-see two team leads and their teams.

This role would be suitable for an individual with a similar background in management and who has the ability to motivate the wider team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will take full ownership of the service charge financial deliverables and ensure these are issued within a timely manner
  • Be responsible for service charge budgets / accounts and the Year End audit process
  • Have complete control over the service charge balance sheets and service charge reporting
  • Delivery of clear communication to operations for property and operational managers have a full understanding of their budgets and accounts
  • Reporting, budget reviews and attendance of client meetings

Personal specification:

  • Previous experience working in a management role within Property Management Accounts
  • Approachable and professional nature
  • Understanding of the full service charge accounting process
  • Full proficiency across MS Office Suite inclusive of Excel
  • Strong communication skills both written and orally
