Our client is a highly regarded infrastructure focused private equity fund based in Abu Dhabi.  Having been established for a number of years, the fund has actively invested across the infrastructure space in to the MENA region.  With a very strong investment team and continuing to actively invest, there is a need to bring on board a technically strong M&A professional to join the business in a Junior Associate level position. This is an excellent opportunity for an investment banking professional to join an active investment fund and to build a long term career whilst actively investing.

The Associate will;

  • Work with the senior members of the team on all stages of the transaction process from origination to execution along with portfolio management.
  • Take full responsibility for the financial modelling, due diligence and pulling together the investment committee presentations.
  • Support with the portfolio management work holding responsibility for the performance analysis and making recommendations where necessary.
  • Have the opportunity to work on a number of infrastructure deals across the MENA and Asia markets and developing a long term career with the group whilst stepping up in seniority.

Interested candidates must;

  • Be currently sitting at either a Senior Analyst or Junior Associate level within the M&A team of either an international investment bank or Big 4 firm in either the GCC, South African or Asian market.
  • Have an exceptionally strong technical background with ability to build financial models from scratch, lead on due diligence processes and pull together presentations.
  • Ideally have exposure to the infrastructure market but this is not a necessity.
  • Be hard working, proactive and determined to build a strong career within a growing private equity fund where you will step up and take on greater responsibilities and promotions.
  • Have very strong communication skills and be excited and committed to living and working in Abu Dhabi.
