Our client a large sovereign wealth fund is looking for an Investment Accountant to be part of their Accounting and Financial Services team.

Key responsibilities for this position includes but not limited to:

  • Verification of weekly pricing of investment securities and analysing variances
  • Dealing with complex financial instruments such as derivatives or hedge funds
  • Developing investment strategies in coordination with Treasury team
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly financial statements and reports
  • Review trade captures by external fund administrator to confirm accuracy and completeness
  • Complete review of bank reconciliations, fund reconciliations and custody reconciliations
  • Assisting IT team in implementation of new accounting systems  

The Ideal Candidate for this position will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Professional Qualification CA/CPA/ACCA
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience working with Custodian banks, Wealth funds or Big Four
