Cobalt are working with one of London’s leading boutique lenders to find them a Joint-Venture Accountant. The company offers intelligent and bespoke finance solutions to major property developments. The role is working with joint-venture partners, as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong management reporting and financial control. The successful candidate will have great exposure to all areas of the business allowing them to gain commercial experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for joint- venture companies
  • Liaison with senior debt and joint- venture partners to ensure loan covenant and reporting obligations are met
  • Maintain joint venture cash positions and develop forecasts to assist asset management
  • Coordinate with joint- venture partners to improve the quality of their financial reporting
  • Continuous process improvement on end to end processes from cash transactions through to accounts preparation
  • Oversee delivery of annual statutory accounts for joint venture companies
  • Assist in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders and board members
  • Other ad hoc financial reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Financial Services, real estate, private equity, investment management experience
  • Sage Line 50 / Xero
  • Self-management to meet deadlines
  • Communicates effectively verbally and in writing
