An opportunity has arisen in a renowned financial institution. They are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their established legal team globally.
Responsibilities:
· Provide legal advice on corporate banking, transaction banking and trade finance
· Liaise directly with external counsel on lending transactions which will include reviewing, drafting and amending loan and financing documentation and advise business stakeholders on possible legal risks arising from the lending transactions
· Work with product specialists in product development, providing general legal advice and managing all legal risk for the business
Requirements:
· Commonwealth qualified lawyer
· 6-7 of experience working in a law firm or in-house
· Good to have experience in lending transactions, secured loans and other banking matters
We are keen to consider applications with no banking experience and are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
