We have a great opportunity for a Planning Engineer to join a high performing team on a major road project in the Auckland region. This role is responsible for providing effective short and long term planning, reporting on and monitoring construction activities and supporting project controls across significant work packages on a long term project.

 Key criteria include;

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in either planning or civil engineering with a civil contractor on large scale projects
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of proficiency in construction planning, problem solving and the use of analytics to improve efficiencies
  • Full commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • A tertiary education is preferred (BEng, Diploma in Civil Engineering, etc.) as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced P6 experience essential
