Job Title – Planning Manager
Location – Birmingham
Salary – £75,000 / £90,000 + Bonus + an excellent package
Cobalt is working with a global top tier main contractor that is looking for a Planning Manager to help run and manager one of Birmingham’s most iconic schemes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning teams on 2 major projects based in Birmingham. One of these projects will be a large mix use scheme and the other is a large commercial scheme, with total values over £500m.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, the ability and confidence in dealing with site staff including block managers and project managers, will need to demonstrate a solid background of contract planning, working on large and complex projects, including high rise and residential. In addition it is essential they have a thorough understanding of construction techniques.
* Previous experience on large complex projects* High-end residential / Commercial / High Rise * Managerial skills * Main contracting or developer background
* Skilled in Asta Power project and Primavera P6
