We are working exclusively with an international infrastructure lender to hire a Director to lead the execution of deals across the Asian region. Part of a multinational infrastructure group, our client provides local currency investment for infrastructure development projects within developing countries. Having been estbalished for a number of years, they have built a large and impressive portfolio and are continuing to regularly lend across all infrastructure asset classes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project finance professional with strong Asia deal experience to be part of a business where you will regularly deploy capital whilst having a positive impact on developing countries. The successful candidate will spend the first year in London working closely with members of the head office before relocating to Singapore permanently.

The Director will:

Report directly to the Regional Directors in Singapore whilst sitting alongiside other Directors globally to develop and implement the strategic direction of the business.
Lead the execution of project finance deals across Asia based developing countries.
Manage a small team to conduct financial analysis, modelling, due diligence and risk analysis for all transactions.
Underwrite and structure credit documents and papers as well as present opportunities to the Credit Committee.
Support portfolio management activities including regular monitoring and restructuring of stressed assets as and when needed.
Provide training to junior members of the team as and when needed.

Interested candidates must:

Be currently sitting in a project finance position within either a bank or lender.
Possess a very strong lending track record within the infrastructure space across the Asia region.
Either be based in Asia or have previously worked in the region with an in-depth understanding of the market.
Demonstrate experience in leading the execution of project finance deals whilst managing a small team.
Possess a very strong and all round technical skill set with the ability to build financial models, conduct due diligence and prepare credit papers.
Have experience in presenting to Credit Committees and the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of management.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of lending and fixed income products.
Hold a finance, business, engineering or related degree from a highly regarded university.
Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
