Position: Project Manager – Pre-Construction
Location: Waterloo
Remuneration: 45,000 – 55,000 per annum with strong benefits including 26 days holiday, dc pension, private medical cover, company car or car allowance

Due to a number of significant project wins, a leading privately-owned Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking to strengthen its Project Management team within their rail division.

This position will find you responsible as development lead, supporting across a number of projects and working closely with other Project Managers in different rail disciplines. You will be responsible or all the pre-delivery works, including; Stage 1 contracts, land negotiations, planning permission, pricing, H&S methodologies ECI and more.

What you’ll be doing?-Preparing everything, contractually and operationally ready to hand over to site manager once construction begins.-Responsible for getting framework money released for individual projects-Have line management responsibility for other members of the Team and act as a Client Manager in liaison with the Client.

-Explore innovative construction solutions and be able to generate value managed engineering solutions

What you’ll need?-Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering-Be chartered, or near chartered.-Have an understanding of GRIP and NEC3.-Have experience in infrastructure projects, from either client, consultant or contractor perspective.

-Be competent in using Word, Excel and other software requirements, to include programming
