About the Company

One of New Zealand’s leaders in design is looking for a talented Project Architect to work within this award winning Studio, and bring life to a range of diverse and interesting projects. With a reputation for delivering exciting work primarily in the Residential and Urban Design space this medium to large sized Practice focus’ on sustainability.

In this role you will be working closely with the Director along with leading a talented and vibrant team. You will also be meeting with clients and stakeholders from early stages, through to delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect/Project Lead who wants to take Ownership and grow with the Practice.

About the role:

  • Develop and build on client and consultant relations
  • Manage all stages of the planning, design, documenting and project management of an architectural project
  • Coordinate and manage the workload of your team
  • Plan and manage budgets, time schedules and costings
  • Create new and innovative ideas
  • Prepare and oversee documentation

To be Successful:

  • Solid experience across Residential projects
  • Minimum of 3 years local experience as an Architect/Project Lead
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to build on Stakeholder relationships
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring junior staff and drawing on their strengths
  • Drive projects through their phases to successful completion
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and skills
  • Proficient in REVIT software
