Retail Manager

Based Glasgow

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s most active Property Investors. They are currently seeking a retail centre manager to be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operations of a substantial shopping centre. Key duties will include:

  • Operations: Responsible for working with the employer and the retail centre team (retail executive, property & facility managers etc) to oversee and improve the day to day operations
  • Lease management: Responsible for overseeing existing tenants, lease re-gears, leases to new tenants and delivery of the leasing strategy
  • Add Value: Responsible for identifying opportunities to add value through re-developing/re-structuring units, place-making and creating a leasing/tenant-mix strategy
  • Management: Responsible for working with the Retail Executive to oversee the delivery of place-making initiatives, project & event management concepts and marketing element

The successful candidate will be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong commercial acumen and experience working with lease documentation. The candidate will have a good understanding of the retail and leisure sectors in Glasgow/UK and may come from a retail agency background or have shopping centre experience.
