Senior Property Manager
Central London
£40,000 – £45,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Block/Senior Block Manager to join a highly reputable company based in the heart of Central London. This company has been established for over 30 years and has gained a sterling reputation.

Due to growth this business now have a position for a Senior Block Manager to join its existing team and look after a newly acquired portfolio. The portfolio would roughly consist of 600 units made up of predominately mansion and town houses located in and around the Kensington, Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Victoria.

This company is looking for applicants with existing experience within residential Block Management whether it be a Block Manager looking to step up or a Senior Block Manager looking for a change. Those without experience in this industry will not be considered for this role.

The key requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of the section 20 process with experience in overseeing major and minor works
  • Calculating and setting the service charge budgets for clients approval
  • Regularly inspecting the properties while overseeing the on-site staff
  • Negotiating competitive service contracts; supervision of contractors
  • Attending AGM’s, Director and resident meetings occasionally taking minutes and chairing when required

You will need:

  • To hold themselves in a professional manner
  • To have strong organisation skills
  • Understanding of property repair and maintenance
  • In depth knowledge of the up to dates legislation’s.
  • To be extremely articulate with an excellent phone manner
