Senior Client Accountant London, West End

£45,000 – £50,000 + Benefits

Cobalt are currently working alongside a highly respected and successfully growing Property Management company who are currently seeking a Senior Client Accountant to work alongside the Director of Accounts for their residential & mixed use portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of client statements of income and expenditure
  • You will be responsible for the manual preparation of trial balance
  • VAT reporting, arrears reporting, cash flow reports, financial reporting, along with the preparation and maintenance
  • Supporting surveyors with the setting of service charge budgets
  • Preparation and management of service charge reconciliations and invoice of balancing charges
  • Assisting property management surveyors with any property related matters

Person Specification:

  • You will have strong experience working within a Client Accounting function and be prepared to support more junior members of the team
  • An excellent working knowledge of double entry, trial balances, income statements and balance sheets is required
  • Previous experience working with QUBE property management system would be highly advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills both with colleagues and clients
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage a busy work load
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively work well in a team environment
