Cobalt is proud to partner with one of the leading R&D and manufacturer of automation technology. Due to business expanding in Singapore, they are looking to bring on board Senior Electronic Design Engineer (Industrial Sensors/Products).

In this role,

  • You will engage and guide electronic engineers in the design and development of industrial sensors/products including circuitry, PCB layout, and prototyping with proper documentation
  • Perform product verification tests and countermeasures as well as verify regulatory compliance (UL, CE, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain the product lifecycle and liaise with HQ for technical support and technology transfer

To be successful in this role,

  • You will have Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in electronic design and development on industrial products
  • Strong knowledge in digital and analogue circuits, and PCB layout experience with a system level view
  • Completed at least 2 projects and product development, preferably from an established management process
  • Experience in production collaboration and the ability to understand Design for Manufacturability concept
