A leading commercial contractor has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Christchurch. This business has a proven track record of successfully delivering major commercial projects around the city and have established themselves as a prominent contractor.

This role will see you working closely with a talented project team whilst providing you significant exposure to some of Christchurch’s most exciting commercial projects.

Ideal attributes and responsibilities are as follows:

•    A New Zealand recognised tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying

•    7+ Years experience

•    Suitable commercial experience 

•    Exceptional communicator

•    Strong financial reporting and budgeting ability

•    Proficient knowledge of NZS 3910

You will have experience with pre and post contract, tender enquiries, negotiating terms and conditions, issuing contracts, liaising between Designers, Consultants, Project Managers and Sub-contractors, estimating costs, measuring of materials and labour quantities.
