SVP- Retail Management

An established Singapore headquartered developer with a stellar track record is looking to bring on board a retail expert to manage their retail portfolio.

SVP Retail

The successful candidate will lead the transformation efforts for the Retail portfolio. The retail asset is re-positioning itself to be a key and distinctive retail player in the market and there exists exciting prospects for this individual to explore new retail concepts, leverage on the vibrancy of the bustling retail precinct as well as cross-marketing with the surrounding Group portfolio as well as other Group’s assets (e.g. luxury residential properties, a medical centre and other 5-star hotels), to weave a compelling retail story and bring it to fruition, successfully transforming the retail landscape and enhancing the mall’s strategic contribution to the Group. Some key accountabilities of this role include:

1. Marketing strategy & budgets

  • Marketing share and growth strategy, optimizing tenant mix
  • Rental budget, offers for potential tenants
  • Marketing plan, PR plan and budgets
  • Comparison study, competitive rental survey and market benchmarks
  • Marketing collaterals, A&P and events etc

2. Lease management, Tenant engagement & service

  • Finalize & obtain approval for tenancy agreements, including legal documentation
  • Tenant engagement for feedback and improvement
  • Partnership with Projects & Property management team to improve service levels and seamless handover for the mall

3. Management reports

  • Monthly performance reports and presentations to shareholders

4. Leadership

  • Leads team of about 9 staff (including 4 customer service officers) to plan and execute the deliverables
