Established for over a decade Cobalt Recruitment is a highly regarded international real estate recruitment firm with a network of 14 offices across four continents.

Due to huge growth in our markets, we are currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Business Support team which recruits within the real estate, built environment and infrastructure sectors across the UK. The common roles they work on include , Office Managers, Team Secretaries and Property Administrators through to Executive Assistants. In time, you will move onto a dedicated client base, working with key real estate contacts to attract the best talent to their business.

The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant is a professional sales role which can often be very rewarding and exciting and can provide an excellent career as well as excellent earning potential. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be involved in the following:

  • Developing business with new clients over the phone and face to face
  • Sourcing candidates to match your clients recruitment needs
  • Advertising vacancies in a professional and attractive manner, in order to find the best candidates
  • Thoroughly Interviewing candidates and preparing them for interviews with your clients
  • Negotiating offers between your clients and candidates

To be successful within our business we look for someone with the following attributes:

  • An ability to sell
  • To be consultative in your sales approach
  • To be able to negotiate and influence decision makers
  • To be good at building long standing relationships within a business environment
  • The right mindset – honest, flexible and reliable, with the determination to succeed
  • Previous experience within a sales or recruitment environment would be a advantageous
