Our client is a highly regarded infrastructure focused private equity group based in the UAE with a key focus on the MENA market.  Having been established for a number of years with a strong investment team, there is a need to bring on board a senior infrastructure focused investment professional at Director or Executive Director level to play a key role in the entire transaction process as well as the portfolio management.  This is an outstanding opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role in a growing private equity group.

The successful candidate will;

  • Lead on the entire transaction process from origination to execution of greenfield and brownfield transactions within the infrastructure, power and utilities space across the MENA and Turkish market.
  • Play a key role in the portfolio management, representing the fund on the boards of project companies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key banks, developers and investment institutions across the region.
  • Lead on the production and presentation of proposals to the Investment Committee.
  • Manage and execute the exit strategy.
  • Manage junior members of the team.

All candidate must;

  • Be currently sitting in a Director/Executive Director or similar level position within an infrastructure or power investment group or the M&A/project finance team of an international investment bank.
  • Have in-depth experience and understanding of the MENA infrastructure or power market.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading transactions from origination to execution.
  • Be technically exceptionally strong and have experience in managing teams.
  • Have outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of management.
