Working on behalf of a blue-chip managing agent, Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Building Manager to take ownership of a stand-out urban development. Comprising of both commercial and retail space, the role is based in an outstanding location right on the doorstep of one of London’s most iconic landmarks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Set and manage the annual service charge budgets;
  • Ensuring H&S compliance, keeping in line with all legislative requirements;
  • Develop and sustain a close working relationship with customers within the properties;
  • Building links between the development and the local community;
  • Effectively promoting the development both in the local community and online;
  • Arranging and overseeing a range of events for clients and other key stakeholders;
  • Supporting the estate through other ad hoc duties.

Hailing from a strong property/facilities management background, you will have solid experience at managing a commercial property including tendering and managing contractors, overseeing Health and Safety and service charge budget management. Equally as important will be your relationship building skills and ability to enhance the image of a building alongside providing a first-class FM service.
