We are partnering closely with an established and hugely successful property company, based in a prime location on Auckland’s North Shore. The business has grown significantly over recent years and faces a secure future in a thriving industry sector. From a cultural perspective, they are very much a friendly, down-to-earth, open-doors type of environment with long tenures common across the core teams.
In line with this growth, a need has been identified to add an additional headcount to the finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller and as part of a small, close-knit team, your duties will be varied: assisting with the preparation of month end trial balance, bank reconciliation and account reconciliation and the management of debtors and creditors, amongst other tasks as required. The role will develop further over time.
This role is likely to suit an experienced practitioner, someone who has spent significant time in a similarly responsible finance role with a mature outlook and a longer-term horizon for development. You’ll require well-honed people skills, the ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders across the company and the flexibility to muck-in where required.
