Assistant Financial Controller

Our client is one of Europe’s largest owner and operators of logistical properties across Europe. They are looking to add to their existing team with the hiring of an Assistant Financial Controller.

This is a great opportunity to join a business that is going from strength to strength, in a crucial position.

The role will involve:

  • Preparation of financial reports and briefings. This area includes tax returns, balance statement and any legislative requirements such as reporting and disclosure
  • Preparation of annual, or more frequently if required budgets which align to the investment/developments strategic objectives
  • Assist with the maintaining and establishment of financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all financial matters are in accordance with legislation ad ethical accounting practices

The successful candidate will be:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant (or equivalent);
  • Educated to undergraduate degree level;
  • Have previous experience in Financial Services and/or Real Estate
  • Sound knowledge of accounting (UK GAAP & IFRS), together with broad experience of the industry
