Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cheshire
Remuneration: £30,000-£40,000

This tier 1 contractor is looking to grow the commercial team of their civil engineering arm with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor following the award of a large highways project.

This is the perfect opportunity for a QS from a non civil engineering background to diversify their experience. You will be supported by a high-performing commercial team and given exposure to a variety of functions.

The contractor places real value on their intimate culture and flat hierarchy. There is a commitment to staff development and retention, backed up by multiple awards and accreditations. You will be looking to grow with the company and be viewing this move as a long-term one. Support and mentorship towards chartership is available and encouraged.

I reiterate that civil engineering experience is not essential. You need a desire to work in this environment, contract administration experience, and relevant qualifications. (HND, Degree, or equivalent)
