Position: Senior Design Engineer
Salary: up to 45,000 DOE with strong benefits including discretionary bonus of up to 10%, pension, holiday etc
Location: Greater London

As a result of ongoing strategic growth, an award-winning Design Consultancy with highly reputable standing in industry is seeking to attract a Senior Design Engineer to their team.

They are looking for an imaginative, highly technical individual to join their business and support in the technical deliver of innovative temporary works designs, including management of more junior Engineers. You will work on some of the most prestigious and technically challenging projects in the Country.

The appointed Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks;-Managing a range of projects with regards to technical, commercial and safety aspects.-Scheming designs using skills to produce cost effective designs.-Marketing internally and externally and securing future workload-Act as a Lead Designer/Interface Manager in line with British regulations-Checking and reviewing designs of others

-Working alongside Directors to support their roles

To be suitable for this role you must have:-BSc / BEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent-Experience of civil or structural engineering design and management of project design.-Good knowledge in major areas of temporary works – basement excavations, wall shoring, temporary gantries etc.-Good understanding of design tools, (2D CAD, Excel, Word, computer frame analysis)-Ability to drive spreadsheet, word processing packages and knowledge of engineering analysis packages.

-Able to work and manage a team of design engineers
