Our client is a well-respected multidisciplinary consultancy with 2 well established offices in New Zealand. With over 25 years experiences servicing the fire, structural and civil markets in New Zealand, our client is renowned for their innovative solutions in commercial, industrial, residential, education and hospitality building projects.
An opportunity has now arisen for a CPEng qualified Lead Structural Engineer looking for their next step up into management. The ideal candidate will have a solid project portfolio detailing their commercial & residential projects over their 10+ year career history and be CPEng qualified. In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have a network of contacts in the industry to build further on using their first-class technical knowledge and stand out relationship building skills.
Working in a small to mid-size consultancy, you will be tasked with managing your team of 5 structural engineers, directly encouraging their technical and personal growth, contributing to the wider growth of the business by identifying potential business opportunities and having oversight on structural projects currently in progress. Do note, this role will not require you to be on site and will be almost wholly office based.
