Building Services Manager

£50,000 – £55,000

Cobalt Recruitment is working alongside an extremely well-known and highly-regarded arts focused company in the search for an experienced Building Services Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a focused team as well as a large range of building contractor services. You will ideally possess a HNC or equivalent qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to;

  • Maintaining statutory compliance across all building services systems and equipment as well as controlling energy usage across their three public spaces.
  • Managing and maintaining the CMMS and BMS Systems, resolving any issues and problems and keeping the assets register up to date.
  • Managing departmental budgets throughout the year with a view to maximise income and minimise costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Providing strong leadership to the Building Services team, setting targets and organising training where necessary.

Ideally you will have project management experience as well as good knowledge of HVAC systems. An IOSH qualification is desired as are excellent computer skills. Preferably you will have experience working in a large event focused public space and an active interest in the arts.
