Commercial Accountant – Property

Our client, a specialist real estate business with an actively managed portfolio of properties, is seeking a Commercial Property Accountant to join their team. The firm has properties worth over £12bn across Central London and the UK including commercial and residential properties.

Joining the team in London, you will be a business partner to the Central London team, providing financial support and advice, and acting as a focal point for specific joint venture reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring financial information for the Central London portfolio is reported accurately
  • Leading on specific joint venture accounting, reporting & cash management, including arranging funding drawdowns and profit distributions
  • Preparation of management accountants, providing insightful analysis on financial performance
  • Development of quarterly forecasts and annual budget
  • Provision of accounting support for business transactions
  • Close collaboration with the business teams at all levels to ensure full understanding of performance drivers and projects

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Business Partnering experience is desirable
  • Experience of complex reporting and accounting arrangements
  • Strong IT skills, including high proficiency with Excel
  • Proven achievements of adding value to business decision making
