Position: Financial Accountant

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Location: London

Cobalt are working with a global residential property developer with over 60,000 apartments within various urban city centres across the globe they are a leader in providing first class living.

Due to their continued success they are looking to hire a financial accountant to join their team. The role would report to the head of finance and provide you with excellent exposure to the real estate industry, whilst also delivering an excellent work life balance and a generous benefits package.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Producing timely, accurate and high quality management reports for the leadership team
  • Assisting the Head of Finance in statutory reporting and the statutory accounts process
  • Providing support to the accounts team of five, offering expertise to more junior members of the team as required
  • Reviewing current processes and promote continuous improvements throughout the finance function
  • Assisting the Head of Finance to drive through a change from quarterly management reporting to monthly reporting

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience within the Real Estate sector is essential
  • Working knowledge of VAT returns with HMRC
